Porsche and Lotus both revealed special edition cars today and both were pretty much the standard car with a race car inspired livery and a few optional extras thrown in as standard.

In the German corner we have the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and in the British corner Lotus presents the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! with a colour scheme based on both the classic JPS and today's Lotus F1 colour scheme.

I've driven the standard version of each and they're both awesome machines, but which do you think pulls off the race car livery for the road car look the best?

They're both pretty neat, but neither stands up to the perfection of the Dale Jr. Monte Carlo.

The Tony Stewart was just a rehash of The Dale Sr. and, we all know this, you don't fuck with The Intimidator

Actually, stewart's was a retread of Jr.'s (look at the wheels) while the intimidator special was the original that came out I think the first or second year of the redesigned SS. Then the jeff gordon one came out after that, then Jr., then stewart. Gordon and Dale Sr. had the non supercharged SS while Jr. and Stewart had the upgraded wheels and supercharged motor w/ HD transmissions.

Nope. The pace cars are the best. Stewart is best of the rest because the monte carlo looks good in black. But the pace cars will always be so 90s it hurts......even though they were made after 2000.

Monte carlo's been doing spoilers and stickers for years, mate. And it's been doing it better since 95. Look at that benz. It doesn't even have any purple on it! How is it a special edition without some purple graphics? There aren't even any "limited edition" logos or special badge stickers on it!

Kind of like the 911 Martini, except better.

I know I already suggested the 918 Weissach, but then I remembered the Ferrari 458 312T tribute.... So sexy.

Who doesn't want diamond-plating and aluminum inside their 458?!?

The production model looks so much better than the concept. The lights and wheels just look so 90s.
